The Pike County Agency for Developmental Disabilities (PCADD) receives funding from a variety of sources. Below is a description of the main sources of on-going funding for PCADD.

County Tax Funds: Residents of Pike County are assessed a tax levy based upon the valuation of their property. These funds are collected by the Pike County Collector and submitted to the Pike County Senate Bill 40 Board, who then distributes funds to area nonprofit agencies that serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including PCADD.

Missouri Division of Developmental Disabilities: PCADD provides a variety of community-based services for persons with developmental disabilities on a contractual basis with the MO Dept. of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities. These services are funded through the Missouri Home and Community Based Waiver program.

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT): PCADD has obtained financial assistance for the purchase of new vehicles through MoDOT’s 5310 Program. PCADD also receives operational funds through MoDOT’s Missouri Elderly and Handicapped Transportation Assistance Program (MEHTAP).

Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation: PCADD provides some employment services on a contractual basis with the MO Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
